Ways and Means Focus

Ways & Means

Ways and Means Officer: Sara Little, Treasurer

Responsible for recommending and  organizing multiple fundraising activities throughout the year. These have included but are not limited to auctions, plant sales, sale of merchandise, yard sales, bake sales, and other fun events. Net proceeds go back to our community in the form of scholarships, charitable giving and other community support.

Major Gifts and Grants

Major Gifts and Grants

Chairperson: Laura Ulz

The Major Gifts & Grants Committee augments our fundraising activities by seeking out private donors, businesses, foundations, grant opportunities, and sponsorships throughout the year.

This committee partners with Ways & Means to ensure our fundraisers have the major sponsor funding they need (e.g., Arley Day Festival) and with the Publicity Committee to provide broad recognition for our donors.
This additional source of funding ensures continuity in our income stream.

areas of community support, in keeping with the

Arley Women's Club Mission Statement.

Always the third Saturday in May.

especially when it is an Arley Women’s Club Bake Sale! Very popular in our community, these sales are well attended.

The co-chairs of this committee will arrange publicity, arrange for, and collect lots of baked goods for the three main sales, plus others that ‘pop-up’ during the year, at a Yard Sale and other opportunities.

We hope everyone will bake!
